1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, scheduling a service, or engaging Summit Junk Removal ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") in any way, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

Summit Junk Removal provides residential and commercial junk removal, hauling, and disposal services in Staten Island and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to:

Furniture, appliance, and electronics removal

Yard waste and debris removal

Estate cleanouts and hoarding cleanouts

Construction and renovation debris removal

Office and commercial cleanouts

All services are subject to availability and our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any job that poses safety risks or involves prohibited materials.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided via phone, email, or our website are based on information supplied by the Customer and are not guaranteed. Final pricing is determined at the time of service based on the volume, weight, type of materials, and accessibility of the items.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at the time of service if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described. You will be informed of any price adjustment before we begin work, and you may cancel without charge at that time.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at the time of service. Returned checks are subject to a fee of $35.

Outstanding balances past 30 days may be subject to collection proceedings. Customer agrees to pay all associated collection and legal fees.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling

We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the scheduled time window. Arrival times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, prior job durations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee of up to $50. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full for the minimum service fee.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

Ensure all items to be removed are accessible and clearly identified prior to our arrival.

Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords, property managers, or co-owners before authorizing removal.

Ensure that the premises are safe for our crew (clear pathways, working lighting, no hazardous conditions).

Be present or designate a responsible adult (18+) to be on-site during service.

7. Prohibited Items

We are unable to accept or dispose of the following items:

Hazardous materials (asbestos, lead paint, chemicals, solvents)

Biohazardous or medical waste

Flammable or explosive materials

Motor oil, fuel, or other petroleum products

Regulated electronics as defined by New York State law (unless specifically arranged)

Customers who misrepresent prohibited items will be solely liable for any resulting fines, penalties, or disposal costs.

8. Property Damage

Our crew will take reasonable care when removing items from your property. In the event of damage caused directly by our negligence, please notify us in writing within 48 hours of service completion. We will investigate and, where appropriate, work with you toward a fair resolution.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from structural issues with your property (e.g., narrow doorways, fragile flooring, tight staircases).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Summit Junk Removal's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Summit Junk Removal, its employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your misrepresentation of items or conditions at the service location.

11. Privacy
